Coping With Stress and Uncertainty During the Fifth wave of COVID-19

Updated: Jun 5, 2023

The number of new coronavirus cases in Hong Kong hit another record high on 1st March at 34,466, as the Omicron-driven Covid wave showed no sign of abating. When there are no clear instructions from authorities, many of us continue to feel overwhelmed and emotionally on edge. While there’s no way to avoid those changes in life, there are ways to help smooth the rough waters and regain a sense of control. But as difficult as the situation is—and as powerless as you might feel—you can take steps to improve your emotional well-being.

Learning how to build resilience can help you cope with stress, overcome adversity, and can help you better adapt to the current situation.

After finishing this learning, you will be able to recognize your stress and emotional triggers. You will be to demonstrate the knowledge needed for coping with those situations and emotions.
